A GUMBALL FAMILY DAY OUT SALON PRIVÉ 2015
Gumball 3000 were invited to attend the UK's answer to Pebble Beach, Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace last weekend. As an event, Salon Privé is pure luxury throughout and is a must see for anyone that appreciates good food, fine wine and of course, the worlds best automobiles.
We invited 30 of our Gumball Family members to the most prestigious car event with one member lending us his La Ferrari to display.
The day started early for the Gumball team, on the dew covered lawn of Blenheim Palace, priceless cars were being warmed up, wiped down and polished. As the morning progressed mugs of coffee were exchanged for glasses of bubbles as guests entered the lawn and started to meander around the exotic metal on display.
Lunch was served on the lawn followed by a long afternoon of walking aimlessly staring at the cars on show. Classic Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s littered the lawn, countless modern classics were also on show from all of the top marques.
Stars of the show included the Aston Martin DBX, a super exclusive concept run of just 10 cars for use in the new James Bond film, ‘Spectre’, due for release later this year.
